Financial & Insurance

We believe that cost concerns should never stand between a patient and the dental care they need. Our team is happy to work with you to understand your insurance benefits, explore payment options, and find an approach that fits your situation. Below you’ll find an overview of the insurances we accept and the payment methods available at our practice.

Accepted Insurance Plans

We are in-network providers for several major dental insurance plans and work with many others as out-of-network providers. Our office staff will file your insurance claims on your behalf, obtain written pre-treatment estimates when appropriate, and follow up on submitted claims to help you get the maximum benefit your plan allows.

We are currently in-network with the following plans:

Delta Dental — We are a Premier Delta Dental provider, which means patients with Delta Dental coverage may receive higher benefit levels when treated in our office.

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas — We are a participating provider for BCBS of Kansas dental plans.

United Health Care — We are a participating provider for UHC dental plans.

KanCare — We accept KanCare patients age 20 and under.

If your insurance plan is not listed above, please call our office. We are happy to verify your benefits and let you know what coverage you can expect before your appointment.

Please keep in mind that dental insurance is a benefit plan, not a comprehensive payment system. In most cases, insurance covers a portion of treatment costs — not the full amount. You are responsible for all charges regardless of what your insurance plan pays, and we will provide you with a clear estimate of your out-of-pocket costs before treatment begins.

Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

Cash and personal check are accepted for all services.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, and Discover credit and debit cards.

CareCredit patient financing is available for patients who prefer to spread the cost of treatment over time. CareCredit offers interest-free payment plan options for qualifying applicants. You can apply directly at carecredit.com or ask our front office team for assistance.

We ask that your estimated patient portion be paid at each appointment as treatment progresses. If your insurance overpays after treatment is complete, any overpayment will be promptly refunded to you.

Questions About Your Bill or Benefits?

Our front office team is knowledgeable about insurance and billing and is here to help you navigate the process. If you have a question about your statement, your insurance explanation of benefits, or your remaining treatment balance, please give us a call. We’ll take the time to walk through it with you so everything is clear.
