Prosthodontics
Prosthodontics is the dental specialty focused on the design, fabrication, and fitting of dental prostheses — the restorations and appliances used to replace missing teeth and restore oral function. Whether you’re missing one tooth or many, prosthodontic care can give you back a smile that feels comfortable, looks natural, and works the way it should.
At our practice, we offer a comprehensive range of prosthodontic services, from traditional dentures and partials to advanced implant-supported restorations and full-mouth rehabilitation. Our goal is to find the solution that best fits your lifestyle, your oral health needs, and your long-term goals.
Dentures and Partial Dentures
Dentures have come a long way from the one-size-fits-all appliances of the past. Today’s dentures are custom-fabricated to fit the unique contours of your mouth and carefully designed to look as natural as possible. A full denture replaces an entire arch of missing teeth, while a partial denture fills in the gaps when some natural teeth remain.
Our practice uses Dandy Lab for our removable dentures and partials — a digital workflow that eliminates traditional impressions in favor of precise digital scans. This technology reduces human error and significantly shortens turnaround time, since the scans are uploaded to the lab instantly. The result is a better-fitting prosthesis, delivered faster.
While it does take time to adjust to wearing a denture, most patients find that with properly fitted, well-made appliances, they can eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
Implant-Supported Dentures, Partials, and Bridges
For patients who want the security of a fixed or semi-fixed restoration, implant-supported prostheses offer a significant upgrade over traditional removable appliances. Rather than relying on suction or adhesives, implant-supported dentures and partials are anchored to dental implants placed in the jawbone — making them far more stable and comfortable for everyday use.
An implant-supported bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring an artificial tooth to implants on either side of the gap, eliminating the need to crown healthy adjacent teeth the way a traditional bridge does.
We offer both restoration-only services (for patients who have implants placed elsewhere) and full care that includes implant placement and restoration at our practice. Whenever we handle the entire process, we’re able to ensure that the implants are placed precisely where they need to be for the best functional and aesthetic outcome.
Hybrid Implant Dentures
Hybrid implant dentures — sometimes called implant-supported fixed dentures or All-on-X restorations — represent one of the most advanced full-arch replacement options available today. These prostheses are permanently attached to a series of implants and cannot be removed by the patient, combining the stability of fixed restorations with the comprehensive coverage of a full denture.
Hybrid dentures look and feel remarkably like natural teeth. Because they are anchored to implants, they also help stimulate and preserve the jawbone — something traditional dentures cannot do. The result is a restoration that is not only functional and beautiful but also better for your long-term oral health.
If you’ve been living with loose or uncomfortable dentures, or if you’re missing all or most of your teeth, hybrid implant dentures may be a life-changing option worth exploring.
Complex and Full-Mouth Rehabilitation
Some patients come to us with multiple oral health challenges — extensive decay, worn teeth, missing teeth, and bite problems — that require a comprehensive, coordinated treatment plan to address. Full-mouth rehabilitation brings together the full range of restorative and prosthetic services to systematically restore every tooth in the mouth to optimal health, function, and aesthetics.
This type of care requires careful planning and close collaboration between patient and dentist. We’ll take the time to fully understand your goals, assess your current oral health, and develop a phased treatment plan that works toward a complete result. Full-mouth rehabilitation can be a significant commitment, but for patients who need it, the outcome — a fully functional, beautiful smile — is truly transformative.
A Smile Worth Having
Missing or damaged teeth don’t just affect the way you look — they affect the way you eat, speak, and feel about yourself. Prosthodontic care is about restoring all of that. If you’re ready to explore your options for replacing missing teeth or rebuilding your smile, we invite you to schedule a consultation. We’ll take the time to listen, answer your questions, and help you understand which solutions are right for you.
